Who we are and what we do with your lists
YesInventory is run by XFactorAI, LLC (Delaware, United States). Your lists, photos and items are yours: we hold them for you, do only what you ask with them, and show them only to people you give a link to. The AI that reads each photo is Anthropic’s Claude, in the United States; it deletes what we send within 30 days and does not train on it. If you use YesInventory for a business, you are responsible for telling the people whose homes, belongings or workplaces appear in your photos, and for your own law on inventories and deposits; we are your processor, and the processing terms at yesbusiness.ai/terms section 10.6 apply to that. YesInventory is for people 18 or over. These terms are governed by the law of Delaware, and nothing in them takes away rights your own country’s law gives you that cannot be waived. How long we keep photos and lists
Photos and lists are kept until you delete them. Deleting a photo, an item or a list removes it from every link at once and from our servers within 30 days; a copy may sit in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days more and is never restored for use. When an account closes, its lists go the same way: gone from every link at once, from our servers within 30 days and from backups within 30 days after that. The AI provider that reads each photo (Anthropic, in the United States) deletes what we send it within 30 days and does not train on it. We keep only counts that identify nobody (how many photos, items and lists were made) after that. If you need a list as evidence, export the PDF before you delete it: we cannot bring a deleted list back.
What a link means
You have been given this list by its owner. What you see here is theirs: use it for the purpose it was shared for, do not pass the link on, and do not copy photos of a place or people’s things anywhere else. The owner can take this link back at any time, and then it stops working. Editors: the name you give is kept with every photo and change you make, and is shown to everyone on the list. Items listed by AI from the photos. Counted means the AI saw and counted it; Estimated is the AI’s estimate, not a count; Check means the AI is not sure. The photos and their times are the record; check the list against them before you rely on it, and change anything that is wrong. AI can be wrong.
